Refrigerated dryer B-Kool Bauer

B-KOOL refrigeration dryer BAUER, is a cooling unit integrated into the B-KOOL refrigeration dryer which removes most of the moisture from the compressed air so that it cannot reach the filtration system. The service life of the filter cartridge will be significantly extended.

It is recommended to use only original BAUER filter cartridges in order to be able to meet the limit values ​​for pollutants of the breathing air standard DIN EN 12021 and in the interests of the compressor operator for his safety.

Its operating principle:

1. Moisture laden air is routed from the compressor final separator to the B-KOOL refrigeration dryer. The heated air is still 100% saturated with water vapor and oil.
2. In the highly efficient cooling unit the temperature of the compressed air, and thus its pressure dew point, is lowered to approx. 3 ° C. For physical reasons, the cooled air can no longer store the moisture it contains, and water and oil vapor condenses.
3. The integrated separator collects the condensate. Thus, these no longer reach the filter cartridge which, otherwise, would reach saturation much faster.
4. The automatic condensate drain allows the condensate to be evacuated in the collecting tank of the compressor unit.
5. The cooled and dehumidified air is supplied from the B-KOOL refrigeration dryer to the filtration system.
6. The B-KOOL-Control monitors the operation of the integrated refrigeration technology and controls the condensate drain valve of the automatic condensation.
