In the mid-1970s, two friends decided to combine their knowledge of diving and precision mechanics.

From their small garage in the north of England, they set out to create regulators that are among the most popular on the market today. A few decades later, we still find this artisan spirit and precision. The full line of Apeks scuba diving gear, now complete with regulators, vests, instruments and accessories, is used by divers around the world who trust it. Indeed, in the most difficult environments, only one thing matters: that your diving equipment is designed, manufactured and tested for your safety and comfort. The name Apeks is a combination of the initials of the founders of the brand: Ken Smith Ainscough and Eric Partington.

Inspired by technical diving and designed for everyone, the full line of Apeks scuba diving equipment, which now includes regulators, bladders, drysuits, instruments and accessories, has been adopted by technical divers of the whole world.
Apeks diving equipment is used to explore some of the deepest, coldest and most advanced diving environments in the world.
